VODAFONE – On Monday 8th October 2018, Vodafone will temporarily disable the ‘ROSS booster units’ scattered around the village, as the recently installed mast in the locality means that these units should no longer be required.  If this is the case, then they shall be removed in due course.  Should you have any problems with the Vodafone service during the w/c 8th October, then please email the Parish Clerk at clerk@blakeneyparishcouncil.co.uk who will forward any comments back to Vodafone.

PERMANENT RESIDENTS CAR PARK PASSES - Those of you eligible for the Carnser Car Park Residents Permit, and the Coronation Car Park Residents Permit, are advised that they will be ready for collection from Tuesday 20th March 2018.  In order to determine genuine permanent residents, (sorry no second/holiday homes) you must produce a copy of your most recent Council Tax bill from North Norfolk District Council.  The information provided on this, will determine whether or not you are eligible for a free permit, in addition to you appearing on our Electoral Roll.

Blakeney Parish Council was delighted to announce the launch of an eagerly awaited  local VOLUNTEER AWARD SCHEME and can now announce that the overall winner was Mr Trevor Leach.  Other much deserved nominations included; Lilian Timms, Elizabeth ‘Pooh’ Curtis, Chris Wheeler, Anne Maw, June Preston, Colin Cobon & Danny Tutt.  An awards presentation will take place at our summer community event, Party on The Pastures on Sunday 19th August 2018.
